Homemade Daft Punk Helmet

Is there anything in modern music that is more iconic than the helmets of Daft Punk? Probably not. As the helmets serve as the identity of the two members of Daft Punk, it’s not surprising that people have attempted to recreate these famous pieces of headgear.

Well, Harrison Krix set about to create a reproduction of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo’s helmet, complete with working lights. The whole process took seventeen months. The step-by-step process behind this amazing piece can be found on his blog, Volpin Productions.
