Raymond Scott Quintette “Powerhouse”

If you’ve ever seen a cartoon with a factory/assembly line sequence, you’ve heard the song “Powerhouse”. It’s been featured in several Looney Tunes shorts, a couple of episodes of The Simpsons and even a Visa credit card ad. The song’s composer, Raymond Scott, originally recorded the song in 1937. Here’s a 1955 performance by Scott and his band. The most famous part of the song,  “Powerhouse B”, starts at the 1:28 mark on the video.
