David Bowie, “Helden”

Back in the 1960s and 1970s, pop stars would often record versions of their hit songs for the foreign market in foreign languages. Some of the more notable performances include The Beatles performing “She Loves You” in German and The Temptations singing an Italian version of “My Girl.” Today we’ve got David Bowie and Brian Eno’s masterpiece, “Heroes” sung in German. Fittingly the song was inspired by Bowie’s time in Berlin.
