Taco Bell’s Dorito Taco Shell

Thank heaven for corporate synergy! Frito-Lay, the maker of Doritos and other fine chips, and Yum! Brands, the operators of Taco Bell; Pizza Hut and other restaurants, are both members of the PepsiCo family, so it’s about time they got together to work some junk food magic. Seen at right is a new Taco Bell menu item called the Doritos Loco Taco, a taco with a shell made from nacho cheese Doritos.

At the moment, the bright orange taco is only available in Toledo, Ohio, but don’t be surprised if it comes to a Taco Bell near you soon. For more photos and video of the taco, head over to FoodBeast.
