Oscar Wilde vs. The Jersey Shore

Oscar Wilde is one of the greatest wits of all time, but who are today’s greatest wits? I know my first guess wouldn’t be the cast of The Jersey Shore. Anyway, the folks over at Playbill decided to see what would happen when you combined Wilde’s style with actual quotes from The Jersey Shore. Now with a little help from actors Santino Fontana and David Furr, who currently star as Algernon and Jack¬† in Wilde’s The Importance Of Being Earnest on Broadway, we get to see what happens when the Shore goes Wilde. Playbill has released five videos of this experiment, and here’s the first.
