Harry Potter Album Covers

J. K. Rowling has already established that the wizarding world has famous rock bands like the Weird Sisters and if Harry and Hermione’s dance scene in Deathly Hallows Part 1 is any indication, Nick Cave may just be a wizard too. On top of all that, the books inspired a unique musical subgenre known as “wizard rock.” So, to pay tribute to the Potter/rock connection, the staff of NextMovie got together with the Old Red Jalopy team to reimagine nine famous album covers with the cast of the Potter films. It’s a rather amusing and at times bizarre collection that includes Voldemort and a few loyal Death Eaters  as the Ramones and Severus Snape’s famous 1968 comeback record. However, the highlight of the collection may be everyone’s favorite ginger, Ron Weasley filling in for David Bowie on the cover of Aladdin Sane.

Check all nine covers out at NextMovie.
