The Fresh Prince Google Maps Route

There’s a late 20th century folk ballad which tells the story of a young man who gets in to a spot of trouble and must leave his home in West Philadelphia to live with his auntie and uncle in the town of Bel Air. As the story goes, he was later crowned the township’s prince.

According to the song’s lyrics, the young Prince William hailed a cab in West Philadelphia and traveled across the country to Bel Air. Out of curiosity, we decided to see what the Fresh Prince’s historic route might have looked like. According to Google, this trip takes nearly two days. Check it out here.
